Rar file downloaded, but shows as unconfirmed

I am using MacOS High Sierra with Microsoft Edge Beta Its an amazing browser However, I noticed that when a file download fails, it stays in my computer as "unconfirmed download file". This file cannot be deleted from my Missing: rar.  · My WinRAR icon no longer shows on my zipped files I have WinRAR as my default zipping program on my Vista 32bit computer. I used to see the WinRAR icon on my zipped folders, but now all I see is the folder with a zipper on it. Over the last few days, my downloads have been getting "stuck" bltadwin.ruload files even after the download is done. What's strange is that I can see and open the files from the downloads tab on my browser but in my downloads folder the file still shows bltadwin.ruload and it can stay like that for a good long while without switching to the correct file type.
